At first glance the ongoing speculation that is rife on twitter about a possible Man United move for Kaka seems highly unlikely but perhaps there is a glimmer of possibility that such a deal could come to fruition this month.

Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that he hopes to bring in one more signing and having tried, and failed, to sign Brazilian youngster Lucas Moura the assumption may be that the Old Trafford boss is keen to bring in a creative midfielder.

Another possible pointer at a possible move are the odds on such a deal occurring dramatically dropping.

The 30 year old Real Madrid man is by no means a first team regular at the Bernabeu and perhaps Jose Mourinho would consider loaning out the former AC Milan man ahead of a potential permanent switch, though presumably this would have the knock on effect of preventing Nuri Sahin from making a similar temporary move away from the La Liga champions.

Kaka’s first team hopes would be further hit if Mourinho did finally snap up Luka Modric.

Whilst Sir Alex Ferguson has been looking to bring in youthful additions of late he has shown with the signing of Robin Van Persie that he is open to the capture of more established players if he feels they are of sufficient quality to improve areas of his Man United squad.
